SONG IN A HAT WITH ERIC PASLAY

Want to experience something truly unique? Join us for another rendition of Song In A Hat. Created by singer-songwriter Eric Paslay, Song in a Hat offers attendees a unique opportunity to experience the songwriting process in Music City. Guests will write a song idea or title on a slip of paper and toss it into a hat. Eric will randomly draw one slip out of the hat, and that guest will join him and the two other songwriters on stage to help co-write a song!
A New Series at The Listening Room
We are so excited to launch a new series this month, “Sunday Songs”. What started as a Sunday jam session in Key West is making its way to Music City for the very first Sunday Songs, dreamed up by the Key West Event Specialists in partnership with BMI.
Join us for a one-of-a-kind evening as some of Nashville’s most gifted voices, including Rebecca Lynn Howard, Tommy Sims, and Chuck Cannon, come together to breathe new life into the traditional church hymns we all know and love. Hear these timeless songs in a way you’ve never experienced before — reimagined through the voices, stories, and musical talents of Nashville’s finest.
Sunday Songs is a faith-filled round unlike our regular songwriter rounds. There won’t be a focus on original songs or the traditional songwriter format. Instead, this special evening is centered around beloved hymns, powerful voices, and the shared experience of faith through music.
Come expecting beautiful music, meaningful moments, and a Sunday night celebration that will leave you inspired.

We are once again honored to be on the second nomination ballot for the CMA Tour Awards for “Venue of the Year.” The CMA Touring Awards honor the concert industry’s top professionals, venues, and companies for the year, based on shows originating between October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026. The winners will be announced at the annual CMA Touring Awards event. If you are a CMA member please head over to the ballot and cast your vote!

A NOTE FROM CHRIS BLAIR
August was a great month at The Listening Room, and one of the highlights for me personally was our GRAMMY show with Lauren Daigle and Amy Grant. I really enjoyed that night. It was great seeing a full house and having two incredible artists on our stage. Nights like that are a great reminder of what makes this room and Nashville’s music community so special.
Football season is also here, which means our Titans Tailgates are back! Come hang out with us in Lot R starting four hours before kickoff. We’ll have live music, food, and a full bar to get everyone ready for the game.
With the new stadium coming, we really don’t know what the tailgating areas will look like in the future, so this could potentially be our last season doing the tailgate the way we’ve done it for years. If you’ve been coming out with us, come back and make another season of memories. And if you’ve never joined us before, this is the year to do it.
We’re looking forward to a great fall at The Listening Room and hopefully seeing a lot of you at a show or out in Lot R!”
