These Terms & Conditions govern use of SevillaLocalMedia.com, Sevilla Local Media (“SLM”) business tools, public directories, submission features and online service-ordering functions. By using the site or submitting an order, listing or publication request, you agree to these terms. A signed proposal, statement of work, invoice, order form or other written agreement between SLM and a customer controls if it conflicts with these general site terms.

Services and business tools

SLM offers digital marketing and advertising services and may provide tools or publication services including SEO, local search, Google Ads management, website services, citation building, business-directory listings, rank tracking, press-release/publicity services, URL submission, jobs, classifieds and related resources. Features, pricing and availability may change.

No search-ranking, indexing, lead or revenue guarantee

Search engines, advertising platforms and third-party publishers independently control crawling, indexing, ranking, ad delivery and distribution. Unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise, SLM does not guarantee a particular ranking, indexing result, traffic level, lead volume, sales result, revenue result, advertising return, media placement or publication by an independent third party.

Business Directory

Business owners and authorized representatives may submit or claim listings. Submitters represent that they have authority to provide the submitted business information and that the information is accurate to the best of their knowledge. SLM may review, edit, reject, suspend or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, abusive, duplicative or inconsistent with directory standards.

Paid directory tiers purchase defined profile features, priority placement and/or promotional services. Payment does not constitute an independent endorsement by SLM and does not guarantee search-engine rankings or leads. Paid placement may be identified with labels such as “Paid Listing,” “Featured Business,” “Local Growth,” “Sponsored” or similar clear disclosures. Directory Network distribution occurs only as permitted by the selected plan and applicable authorization.

Press releases, publicity and sponsored content

Press-release and publicity orders are subject to editorial review. Purchasing publication or distribution does not entitle a submitter to publish false, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, unlawful or otherwise unacceptable material. SLM may require edits or reject content that does not meet publication standards. Paid releases and other paid editorial-style content should be identified as paid or sponsored content where appropriate.

Rank Tracker and reporting tools

Rank Tracker data is informational and may differ by location, device, personalization, search-engine changes, timing and third-party data sources. Historical data is intended to assist campaign analysis and is not a warranty of future search performance. On-demand checks may rely on third-party data providers and may be subject to usage limits or service availability.

URL submission and indexing notifications

URL submission and IndexNow-related services are notification/submission services only. Submission does not compel a search engine to crawl, index, retain or rank a URL.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials. Do not attempt to access another user’s account, bypass security controls, probe the site for vulnerabilities without authorization, interfere with site operation or use automated systems in a manner that materially burdens the service.

User content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights necessary for SLM to provide the requested service. By submitting content for publication, distribution, advertising, directory display or other fulfillment, you grant SLM a nonexclusive license to host, reproduce, format, edit for presentation, publish, display and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to provide the selected service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content and that it does not violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or other rights.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use SLM services to publish or distribute content that is unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, intentionally deceptive, defamatory, infringing, sexually exploitative, designed to facilitate criminal activity, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law. SLM may refuse or remove content and may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the site, users, SLM or third parties.

Payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds

Prices shown at checkout or in an applicable proposal control the order. Third-party payment processors may process payments. Unless a checkout or written agreement expressly states that billing is recurring, an online SLM payment should not be treated as authorization for automatic renewal. Renewal pricing displayed for a service describes the price applicable to a future renewal and does not itself authorize a future charge.

Refund and cancellation rights are described in the applicable proposal, order terms and the Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Third-party platforms and links

SLM services may interact with or link to third-party platforms, publishers, search engines, advertising networks, social networks, payment processors or software providers. SLM is not responsible for changes, outages, policies, suspensions or independent decisions made by those third parties.

Testimonials, reviews and case studies

Testimonials, ratings, reviews, case studies and performance examples must be understood in context. Individual results vary. SLM does not represent that a particular customer’s result is typical or guaranteed. When a material relationship affects the weight a reasonable consumer may give an endorsement or promotional item, SLM intends to disclose that relationship clearly.

Intellectual property

The SLM name, site design, original copy, graphics, software, databases and other SLM-owned materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as expressly permitted, users may not copy, republish, sell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit SLM-owned materials or software.

Disclaimers

The site and self-service tools are provided on an “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. SLM does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free third-party data, continued availability of any external platform, or any particular business outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SLM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the site or a self-service tool. Any limitation in a specific customer agreement controls for that engagement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Indemnity for submitted content

To the extent permitted by law, a user who submits content or business information agrees to be responsible for claims arising from material the user was not authorized to submit, publish or distribute, including claims based on infringement, unlawful content or material misrepresentation.

Changes and termination

SLM may change site features or these general terms as the platform evolves. We may restrict access or remove content where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, nonpayment, abuse or violation of these terms. The posted “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
