The new SLM Business Directory supports free listings, claimable business profiles and paid upgrades that add defined profile and promotional features.
Start With a Free Business Listing
Businesses can submit a listing with core information such as business name, category, phone, address, website and business description. Submitted listings are reviewed before publication.
How to Submit or Claim a Business Profile
To add a new business, begin with the directory submission form and provide accurate public contact details. If a listing already exists, use the claim process rather than creating a duplicate. Ownership and eligibility checks may be required before a claim or new listing is approved.
Paid Plans Add Features—Not Search Guarantees
Current directory plans include a free Basic option, Verified Business at $59/year, Featured Business at $149/year, and the Local Growth Package at $399 for the first year with a $149/year renewal price. View the current directory plans for the live offer and included features.
Paid directory plans purchase profile features, placement within the SLM directory and defined promotional or local-visibility work. They do not guarantee Google rankings, traffic, leads or sales.
Compare Features Before Upgrading
Review the current directory plan comparison for exact profile features, publication requirements, billing terms and renewal prices. A paid tier provides the specifically listed benefits; it does not establish an independent endorsement or promise placement in external search results.
Verified and Featured Profiles
Verified Business adds a trust-oriented profile tier and expanded profile controls. Featured Business adds enhanced directory positioning and richer promotional features. The Local Growth package extends beyond the directory into local visibility work such as citations, a business spotlight article, social promotion and a local SEO/NAP review.
Claim an Existing Listing
If a business already appears in the directory, an owner or authorized representative can submit a claim request. Ownership claims are reviewed before profile access changes. Claiming a listing is free; paid upgrades are optional.
Payment Verification Before Paid Benefits
SLM’s newer directory workflow separates submission from paid activation. A business does not receive paid-plan benefits merely because a paid plan was selected on a form. Paid benefits are activated only after the payment is verified and the listing/order passes the applicable checks.

Businesses can also combine directory presence with citation building, SEO, press release and publicity services, and other SLM business tools.
